Japanese Stab Bookbinding
$ 52.00–$ 126.63
Join us for an exploration into stab bindings, a functional and beautiful structure popularized in Japan. This is a great first book structure for beginner bookbinders, and is also exciting for those who already have experience with western bookbinding because it offers a new set of decorative opportunities.
Stab bindings are also an easy way to bind loose sheets, which is difficult in western book structures. Participants will make two books – the first a simple four-hole binding to learn how the structure works, and the second a more complex design of their choosing.
