Explore the intricate art of papercutting with Tiny Blades Project’s Annyen Lam. In this workshop, you will learn how to cut imagery and designs using washi (Japanese paper) and precision blades. In this themed class there will be be a variety of real plants and crystals to draw inspiration from!

Along with hands-on demonstrations of the various methods and materials used in papercutting, this workshop will focus on your projects in an open studio setting so that you can plan and execute your piece. By the end of the workshop, you will each leave with your own hand-cut paper plants and crystals!

ABOUT ANNYEN LAM

Annyen Lam is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University (2012) as well as the Medal for Printmaking (2012). Her practice includes cut paper works, installation, lithography, screenprinting and book arts. She has exhibited throughout Canada and has participated in shows and print exchanges in Japan, Russia and Venezuela.
