ZIPE 2016

The 2016 edition of ZIPE (Zine Production and Exchange Program) took the form of a 12-week program, with weekly 4-hour workshops acting as a safe space for learners to generate their ideas and narratives toward publishing their own zines.

Offering learners access to studio space, community resources, and the guidance of local artists, ZIPE 2016 saw participants guided through the process of writing, image making, Risograph printing, silkscreening and bookbinding, and connected them with local organizations and resources in order to provide a network of support and outreach opportunities from within the Toronto zinester community.
